Job summary

Wastequip is hiring a Welder for the Tyler, TX manufacturing operation. This full-time role requires MIG welding experience in a fast-paced setting, reading blueprints and using measuring tools. Shift is 2nd, with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and consistently produce quality welds on various assemblies. Prior fabrication experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months plus MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts in jigs or fixtures and tack welds as directed.
• Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead lines with MIG process.

## Welder 2nd shiftApply: Tyler, TX: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R-101404**Job Description:**Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Welder to support our Tyler, TX manufacturing operation. This is a full time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation/Sick time, and so much more. The ideal candidate will be a MIG Welder with prior experience in a manufacturing environment.**Hourly Rate:** $19.84hr + $2 shift differential**Shift hours:** Monday to Thursday: 4:00PM to 1:30AM. Friday: 2:30PM to 11:00PM.**Responsibilities*** Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks* Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces* Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines* Connects regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch. Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch, and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flame.
