Job summary

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana, Inc. is seeking an Equipment and Process Engineer to lead development for new model projects. You will support the Body Weld Pilot Department and collaborate with multiple internal teams and vendors to ensure successful launches while meeting safety, quality, productivity, and cost KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, manufacturing experience, and ability to travel up to 25%. Familiarity with Catia, CAD, and XVL software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with equipment specifications, design, install and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment and process development for new model projects.
• Support Weld Production shops to achieve launch KPIs for safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Internal Logistics, PE & SE, and QE groups.
• Manage project budgets, scheduling, and handover to Production.
• Facilitate problem solving during planning, setup and trial phases.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
