Job summary

Toyota's Body Production Engineering (PE) department in Georgetown, KY is seeking an Engineer II - Production Engineering (Body weld) to help design and deploy new model processes that meet safety, quality, productivity and cost targets.

You will build collaborative relationships with customers, develop countermeasures, mentor teammates, and travel up to 25% to support go-and-see activities with NAMC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology field or 5+ years in related manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work up to 25% overtime.
• Willing to travel 25% to support go-and-see and onsite activities at NAMC.
• PE Manufacturing experience including tooling/design and installation.

Responsibilities

• Develop countermeasures and proposals aligned with project goals and KPIs.
• Coach others through task-based activities in area of expertise.
• Create accurate schedules with milestones for scope.
• Navigate complex scenarios and communicate escalation needs effectively.
• Identify Kaizen opportunities and collaborate to implement countermeasures.
• Develop process plans, proposals, schedules, and tracking based on early planning.
