Job summary

Toyota Manufacturing is seeking a passionate Welding Manufacturing Engineer to support maintenance and production through engineering services, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and cost KPIs are met.

Reporting to the Weld Engineering Manager, you will drive project planning, feasibility studies, and development of digital solutions while collaborating with multiple departments and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD / Inventor)
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, critical and logical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Must be able to drive and have acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Toyota departments, vendors, contractors, management and TM’s
• Plan projects, report, and KPI tracking; develop Master Schedules & Quality Confirmation Plans
• Provide regular updates on projects and technologies/systems you lead
• Support maintenance and production with feasibility studies and countermeasure development/implementation
• Develop and support digital solutions used in the department
• Perform FMEA evaluations and communicate requirements to maintenance and production
