Job summary

Webco Industries, Inc. is seeking a Weld Mill Reliability Technician to improve safety, reliability, uptime, and production output. You will maintain Weld Mill equipment, troubleshoot issues, and implement lasting solutions to reduce downtime while supporting operators and production teams.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, and hands-on training, with a focus on improving equipment condition and failure prevention in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve maintenance challenges.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the condition and reliability of Weld Mill equipment, identify deficiencies, and develop long-term solutions.
• Serve as the first line of maintenance response for unplanned Weld Mill downtime.
• Diagnose failures, restore equipment safely and efficiently, and engage additional support when required.
• Collaborate with Production to understand the schedule and optimize planned maintenance with minimal production impact.
• Plan maintenance around downtime, ensuring parts and tools are prepared in advance.
• Verify equipment condition after maintenance before returning to production.
• Maintain organized work areas and document inspections, parts used, and repair details.
