Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC in Bristol, CT is seeking a skilled Millwright/Welder to maintain rotating equipment and perform welding on steel and stainless parts. You will inspect alignment, balance and condition of pumps, conveyors and turbines, and support boiler repairs across the plant.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, vibration testing and thermography, reading blueprints, and using shop equipment. Overtime nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Welding certification for pressure parts; capable of Stick/TIG/MIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain rotating machinery and equipment.
• Inspect and adjust mechanical alignment, balance, level and condition of conveyors, pumps, boilers, fans and other rotating equipment.
• Repair or replace couplings, bearings and mounts; fabricate welds on platforms, chutes and piping.
• Perform preventative maintenance including vibration tests, thermography and ultrasonic testing.
• Read blueprints and operate shop tools; follow safety policies.
