Job summary

Webco Industries, Inc. is seeking a Weld Mill Maintenance Engineer in Oklahoma to support safe, reliable weld mill operations and improve maintenance systems.

The role partners with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to reduce downtime and drive continuous improvement in line with Lean manufacturing and asset reliability. The candidate will monitor CMMS effectiveness, plan repairs around downtime, and lead capital projects for the weld mill.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities (3–6 month horizon).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of documenting technical info.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• High integrity and respect for team members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CMMS effectiveness; analyze breakdowns and time to repair; suggest improvements.
• Plan and schedule repairs around downtime; ensure parts are ready.
• Improve preventive/predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operators and technicians to promote safe repair practices.
• Lead or support maintenance training to improve performance.
• Serve as Project Manager for capital improvements in the weld mill.
• Coordinate outages and large repair activities with management.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability.
• Uphold safe work practices and safety policies.
• Oversee vendors and contractors for quality, safety, cost, and timeliness.
• Support stable production output and continuous improvement.
