Job summary

Westinghouse Electric - USA is seeking a Millwright & Equipment Reliability Specialist in Ogden, UT. This fully onsite role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems—from initial installation to long-term upkeep.

You will perform precision machining, welding, and diagnostics to minimize downtime and extend asset life, while coordinating with the maintenance team and training others as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of mechanical craft experience, including three years in maintenance.
• Trade/technical schooling may count toward part of experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair mechanical systems using blueprints and drawings.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Overhaul pumps, valves, blowers and other process equipment.
• Operate lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders to make parts.
• Manage lubrication programs and proper standards.
• Diagnose performance issues and repair components efficiently.
• Work safely with acids, alkalis, fiberglass, piping and metal fabrication.
• Coordinate with maintenance team, train others as assigned.
• Adhere to safety rules, keep workspace clean, return tools and parts.
