Job summary

The Treasure Valley Family YMCA's Micron Early Learning Center in Boise seeks a Welcome Center Staff to maintain a friendly, welcoming front desk presence for families and staff. Description

Our Micron Early Learning Center in Boise is seeking a Welcome Center Staff for their front desk. This position is responsible for creating a friendly, helpful, welcoming atmosphere for everyone as they enter.

The Treasure Valley Family YMCA's Child Development programs support children in their ongoing growth to ensure that they are ready for the next educational milestone, whether that be preschool, kindergarten, middle school, or high school.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position at 40 hours weekly with benefits! Schedule requirement is within hours of operation, Monday through Friday, between 6:30am-6:30pm. Please list your availability on your application. Pay: $13.85-$17.31/hr.

• Resolve parent concerns, resolve conflicts within scope of position, address safety concerns, and refer to policy procedures.
• Field and resolve parent concerns and inform supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
• Basic computer and office skills.
• Must be able to engage others in conversations and make all people feel welcome.
• Ability to respond calmly and quickly to safety and emergency situations.
• Must have good interpersonal and communications skills and be sensitive, adaptable, professional, and articulate when dealing with others.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
