SA Recycling is seeking a reliable Weighmaster to weigh incoming and outgoing scrap loads, inspect and document loads, and guide drivers for unloading. The role includes handling payments, basic office tasks, and maintaining accurate records in a dynamic setting.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2+ years' scale experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Safe working practices and weather exposure are normal aspects of the job.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience operating truck scales, preferably in scrap metal.
• Bilingual English & Spanish a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate scale to weigh inbound and outbound trucks.
• Review, inspect, and document inbound loads.
• Direct drivers to yard locations for loading/unloading.
• Complete documentation for vehicles and loads.
• Test scales for accuracy and report malfunctions to GM.
• Process payments and maintain transaction records.
• Assist customers with questions on pricing and materials.
