Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a dependable Weighmaster to weigh and grade inbound loads, operate scales, and direct truck traffic. You will also handle payments and provide accurate documentation while supporting cashier duties as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years on truck scales in scrap or related industries, and excellent communication. The position involves indoor/outdoor work and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive, punctual, and professional at all times.
• Bilingual English & Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale to weigh inbound and outbound trucks.
• Review, inspect, and document inbound loads.
• Direct drivers to proper yard locations for loading/unloading.
• Complete required documentation for vehicles and loads entering or leaving the yard.
• Cross-train as cashier and assist with basic office tasks as needed.
• Assist customers with pricing questions and maintain account contacts.
