This position entails the installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic scales and weighing systems along with peripheral devices such as computers and software, printers, packaging machines, vacuum pack machines, and drum filling machines.
We have an immediate opening for an individual who can operate our heavy duty test truck to conduct inspections of truck scales around the State of Louisiana and Mississippi which requires a Class B Commercial Drivers License and an excellent driving record history.
Service Technicians work alone or in teams and in diverse settings, such as commercial and industrial, to test, diagnose, repair, overhaul, and execute scale system repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction. Technicians will have a understanding of all company and customer safety requirements and industry standards along with scale terminology and the specifications, tolerances, and other technical requirements for weighing and measuring devices as described in NIST Handbook 44. Prior service technician experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronic fields desired. TWIC card, safety certifications, and CDL a major plus for interested candidates.
