Job summary

The Original Pancake House is seeking energetic weekend servers to join our team. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks in a fast-paced brunch setting.

We value friendly, guest-focused individuals who can manage multiple tasks, handle POS transactions, and work well with kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Flexible weekend scheduling and employee meal discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Prior server experience preferred but not required.
• Must be available weekends (Sat & Sun) during peak brunch hours.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take and process drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain clean and organized Server work and dining areas, including cleaning tables and resetting for new guests.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy, utilizing the POS system.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are fulfilled to guests’ satisfaction.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Uphold company standards for food safety, cleanliness, and guest service.
• Support team members as needed to provide excellent service during busy periods.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to excellence.
• Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) during peak breakfast and brunch hours.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
