Original Pancake House in Grapevine, TX is seeking a friendly Weekend Only Host/Cashier to warmly welcome guests and set a positive tone for the dining experience.

You will manage the waitlist, seat guests, provide menus, inform guests of daily specials, handle calls/reservations, and process payments at the register, while supporting the team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

**Key Responsibilities:**

• - Answer phone calls and manage reservations, taking accurate messages when needed.
• - Process Guests' orders accurately using the register, handling cash and credit card transactions.
• - Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the waiting area and menus.
• - Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
• - Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• - Assist with taking orders and serving food and beverages as needed, fostering teamwork with fellow staff members.
• - Support other staff in various tasks during busy periods, contributing to a smooth dining experience.
