Original Pancake House in Grapevine, TX is seeking a charismatic Host/Carry Out team member to create a welcoming dining experience. You will be the first point of contact, manage reservations, seat guests, and assist with carry-out orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

This role emphasizes friendly guest communication, teamwork with kitchen staff, and a neat, organized front-of-house. Flexible mornings and weekends support our busy brunch pace.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and guest interaction.
• Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior service or restaurant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and thank them as they leave to create a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and accommodate walk-ins efficiently.
• Seat guests and guide them to tables considering preferences and wait times.
• Take carry-out orders over the phone and in person for timely pickup.
• Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and helping with menu selections.
• Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to fulfill orders promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean host stand, waiting area, and carry-out station; reset tables as needed.
• Handle cash and credit transactions for carry-out orders when necessary.
