GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for weekend 3rd shift to oversee dock operations and trailer movements.

This hands-on leadership role partners with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to ensure timely equipment flow and adherence to safety standards. The role emphasizes hands-on coordination, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions while supporting a busy yard environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow safety standards and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication for customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements to support daily priorities.
• Manage dock/yard flow, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe issues per procedures.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customers.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with process guidelines, safety standards, and SWIs.
• Support 7S workplace standards and regular visual inspections.
