Job summary

Collingswood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend Warrior CNA-I to join our compassionate care team in Rockville, MD. This full-time weekend position offers 7am–11pm shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with 32 hours paid as 40, and a pay rate of $23/hour (all inclusive).

In this role you will assist residents with daily living activities, observe and report changes, and support licensed nurses to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care in a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA-I certification in the state of Maryland.
• Valid BLS/ CPR certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Strong communication and follow-direction abilities.
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability and commitment to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision in a safe, respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, linens).
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment promoting dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA-I)

Responsibilities for CNA-I:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNA-I:

• Must hold an active CNA-I (formerly GNA) certification in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and commitment to providing quality resident care.
