Job summary

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated CNA-I to join our compassionate care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, observe changes, and report to licensed staff, while helping maintain a safe, dignified environment.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules with multiple shifts, competitive wages from $17.50 to $20 per hour, same-day pay, and benefits including health, vision and dental.

Qualifications

• Active CNA-I certification in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linens.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA-I)

Responsibilities for CNA-I:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNA-I:

• Must hold an active CNA-I (formerly GNA) certification in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and commitment to providing quality resident care.
