Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for weekend build shifts. You will coordinate daily warehouse activities, oversee receiving, shipping, and staging of products, and mentor associates to meet performance and safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with supervisors to achieve cost objectives while maintaining high quality and safety in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE (forklifts, etc.).
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities to meet customer demands.
• Train associates on SOPs including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control.
• Assist in forklift operation and certification for new and existing associates.
• Oversee unloading of inbound shipments and staging of outbound shipments per SOPs.
• Load orders accurately to doors and trailers and verify paperwork with drivers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely execution of warehouse tasks and participate in safety meetings.
