Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Team Lead for weekend operations to coordinate warehousing, receiving and shipping activities, ensuring safety, quality and on-time execution.

Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, you will supervise associates, mentor new hires, oversee forklift operation, verify inbound/outbound paperwork, maintain OSHA compliance, and drive continuous improvement of processes to meet customer demands and company cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with SOPs.
• Load orders accurately to the correct doors and trailers.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and ensure products are counted correctly.
• Research discrepancies in the shipping/receiving process.
• Communicate professionally with customers as needed.
• Assist in maintaining safety, quality and productivity standards.
