Job summary

ReaderLink seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead weekend shift operations (Friday–Monday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.). The role plans, organizes, and monitors staff to meet production goals under the Operations Manager’s guidance.

You will oversee shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution while ensuring safety, quality and productivity. Strong leadership and communication are required to maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years warehouse experience or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Plan ahead and prepare action plans to achieve results.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and discipline.
• Develop a positive work environment.
• Ensure shipping, receiving, storage, distribution and production are performed efficiently.
• Make hiring decisions including interview, selection and retention of employees.
• Conduct employee training and development.
• Assign employees to the correct work area based on production needs.
• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
• Resolve employee issues through problem solving.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate daily workflow with management.
• Investigate accidents and near misses.
• Conduct employee team meetings.
• Be available to work in all areas of the operation.
• Communicate priorities up and down the organization.
