Simon & Schuster US is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the weekend shift in Tennessee. You will oversee replenishment, picking, and productivity while guiding staff to meet daily shipping deadlines and quality standards.

The role emphasizes safety, inventory control, and collaboration with the 2nd Shift Manager to adjust staffing as needed within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in DC warehousing and distribution.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience with warehouse systems and WMS preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate staff under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse operations and safety.
• Train, coach and mentor staff; evaluate performance.
• Schedule daily workload to ensure timely picking and stocking.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and readiness for upcoming orders.
• Communicate progress and issues to management; escalate when needed.
• Lead by example and operate equipment safely.
