Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in The Dalles, OR seeks a Weekend 2nd Shift Lead to oversee a warehouse team, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain timely order fulfillment. You will coach staff, utilize SAP and WMS systems, and drive safety and efficiency across daily operations.

Qualified candidates bring at least 2 years in warehousing, 1 year in a supervisory role, and experience with SAP, WMS, and handheld scanners. Flexibility for overtime and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels and on-time orders.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; recommend improvements as needed.
• Use warehouse management systems and maintain work documents.
• Establish and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures for compliance.
• Safely operate equipment and tools.
• Track orders and investigate issues.
• Adhere to 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
