Job summary

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Northeast Portland, OR, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Weekend Specialty Referral Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a pay range of $24-$28 per hour and Friday–Sunday, 8:00 am–6:30 pm shifts with weekend differentials.

• Experience in coordinating veterinary referrals or similar healthcare referrals.
• Strong communication with clients, DVMs and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple referrals and inquiries with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals for the assigned service line from initial appointment through case closure.
• Schedule new appointments and maintain specialty service emails per procedures.
• Communicate treatment plans, financial obligations, and follow-up with clients.
