Job summary

Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Pet Partner, is seeking a professional Referral Coordinator to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on managing referrals from origin to close, while prioritizing excellent client service and seamless communication with veterinarians.

You will schedule appointments, handle inquiries, and ensure clear explanations of financial obligations to clients. This position offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the BluePearl network.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new appointments for the assigned specialty ensuring DVMs have record of new appointments.
• Resolve case-related concerns prior to appointment.
• Maintain assigned specialty service emails and follow department email triage procedures.
• Gather pertinent information to ensure client understands financial obligations.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients in the assigned specialty service(s).
• Perform post-procedural and post-surgical phone follow-up with clients.
• Receive, process and fill prescription requests with DVM approval for the assigned services.
• Work with primary DVMs regarding requests and routine questions.
• Provide DVMs with bloodwork/test results to keep them informed about referred clients.
• Ensure timely and documented communication regarding treatment.
• Provide support to clinical staff to facilitate administrative components of referrals.

Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Pet Partner, is now hiring for a professional, customer-service oriented Referral Coordinator to join our team!

Pay: $24.30 - $32.30 / hour

A Referral Coordinator ensures the effective, client focused, management of all referrals for the assigned service(s). As a Veterinary Referral Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for referred clients managing their referral from originating appointment through close of case.

As a BluePearl Veterinary Referral Coordinator

• You schedule new appointments for the assigned specialty ensuring DVM(s) have record of new appointments.
• You resolve any case-related concerns prior to appointment.
• You maintain assigned specialty service(s) email and follows departmental email triage procedures.
• You gather pertinent information to ensure client understands financial obligations.
• You act as primary point of contact for clients and potential clients in their assigned specialty service(s).
• You perform post-procedural and post-surgical phone call follow up with clients.
• You receive, process and fill prescription requests, with DVM approval, for assigned specialty services(s)
• You work with primary DVMs regarding requests and routine questions.
• You provide primary care DVMs bloodwork/test results to keep them informed regarding referred clients.
• You ensure necessary communication regarding treatment is provided timely and documented appropriately.
• You provide support to clinical staff in order to facilitate the administrative components of clinical referrals for various services.
