Responsibilities
- Coordinate all admissions paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in initial documentation and electronic entry into PCC, and disseminate patient information appropriately.
- Assist with the admission process by entering data through QADT, updating immunization status, and pulling Face Sheets from PCC to hard charts.
- Greet residents, families, and visitors, providing assistance as needed.
- Transcribe physicians' orders electronically and maintain proficiency in the electronic medical record system through required training.
- Monitor, order, and stock supplies and forms for the unit, ensuring availability and organization.
- Enter physician visits into PCC, update the resident calendar, and scan documents, including weekly Wound Round Reports.
- Record vital signs and weights, run monthly reports for tracking, and schedule appointments, verifying transportation arrangements.
- Answer phones, handle copying, faxing, and maintain unit files and bulletin boards.
