PeaceHealth Orchards Clinic in Vancouver, WA seeks a Part-Time Ultrasound Sonographer for weekend coverage. The role performs diagnostic ultrasound exams, captures high-quality images, documents findings, and communicates results to the interpreting physician in an ambulatory setting.

The position offers a weekend-only schedule, a 15% differential, eligibility for a 403(b) plan, wellness benefits and EAP. Requires ARRT or ARDMS certification and BLS; RVT or vascular credentials within 1 year.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Sonography program or equivalent education/experience required for certification.
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred (acute care or clinic setting).
• Required at Hire: ARRT (Sonography) or ARDMS (OB/GYN and Abdomen) and BLS.
• Required Within 1 Year: ARDMS RVT or ARRT Vascular Sonography.

Mansioni

• Perform ultrasound exams based on provider orders and patient history.
• Capture, evaluate, and document anatomical and diagnostic information.
• Prepare preliminary findings within scope of practice for physician review.
• Communicate exam results clearly with interpreting physicians.
• Maintain daily workflow, logs, and required documentation.
• Calibrate equipment and complete quality control checks.
• Prepare exam rooms and supplies for procedures.
• Use prior imaging, labs, and medical history to optimize exams.
• Adjust exams and equipment settings for individual patient needs.
• Identify normal vs. abnormal findings within licensure scope.
• Follow department protocols and safety standards.
