Job summary

South Sound Radiology in Olympia, Washington seeks a qualified Sonographer to join our outpatient imaging team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with independent judgment and clinical expertise to deliver high-quality imaging.

Requirements include one year of independent sonographer experience, ARDMS registry, BLS/CPR certification, and graduation from an accredited ultrasound program. Expect a weekday full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program.
• Active ARDMS registry.
• Current certification in a healthcare provider BLS/CPR.
• One year of experience as an independent monographer.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs imaging to facility and ACR standards.
• Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging.
• Assists radiologist with specialized procedures.
• Prepares sterile trays.
• Appropriately protocols and screens all orders in advance of appointments for precautions or contraindications.
• Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health and safety standards.
• Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/scope and requires assistance.
