Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA is seeking an Operator for a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00am–5:00pm) in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on maintaining continuous tube mill operations, safety, quality, and timely production with hands-on TPM and cross-training of the team.

You will read OEM setup charts, adjust roll tooling, and perform quality checks to minimize scrap. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support maintenance and overall mill throughput.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using measuring devices: micrometer, calipers, tape measure.
• Read and interpret OEM setup charts for roll tooling adjustments.
• Meet negotiated production timing.
• Clear communication with coworkers to maintain mill flow.

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality, and priorities above all.
• Keep the mill operational during shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area (5S).
• Cross-train team on parts programming and mill setups.
• TPM of process and equipment in the area.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
• Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products; minimize scrap.
• Work with maintenance hands-on to resolve issues promptly.
