St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA is seeking a part-time Surgical Technician (OR Tech) for weekend shifts. Under the supervision of an Operating Room RN, you’ll assist in patient care and maintain sterile technique, instrument handling, and room readiness.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency
• Certified Surgical Technician
• 1-2 years experience

Responsibilities

• Applies sterile technique according to gowning, gloving, and draping.
• Scrubs, handles, and passes instrumentation with aseptic technique.
• Assists in transfer and positioning of patients.
• Collaborates with circulating nurse on room prep and supplies.
• Maintains and monitors the sterile field.
• Ensures equipment and instrumentation are functioning.
• Responds to emergencies to prioritize patient needs.
• Advocates for patient rights and safety.
• Uses sterilizers safely and correctly.
