St Mary Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating (OR) Tech (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) to join Surgical Services under the supervision of a registered nurse in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.
• Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe & therapeutic environment.
• Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses & designated health care professional in keeping detailed records, maintaining clear communication between the entire care team & working with patients & families.
• May serve as a resource (lead), role model & / or mentor.
