Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school or has a GED.
• Certification or specialty training per state requirements.
• License or certification as required for the assignment area.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe & therapeutic environment.
• Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses & designated health care professionals in keeping detailed records and communicating with the care team & families.
• May serve as a resource (lead), role model and mentor.
