Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician (OR Tech) for a weekend part-time role. You will assist in nursing care within the operating room under an RN supervisor, maintaining sterile technique and supporting the surgeon and team.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, gowning, passing instruments, patient transfer and positioning, and ensuring proper room preparation and equipment readiness for procedures.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or equivalency.
• Certified Surgical Technician.
• 1-2 years of OR experience.
• Commitment to patient safety and aseptic technique.

Mansioni

• Assist in maintaining sterile field and gowning.
• Scrub, pass instrumentation, and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Assist in patient transfer and positioning.
• Prepare room with supplies and equipment.
• Maintain equipment and instrumentation.
• Respond to emergencies and advocate for patient safety.
