St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating (OR) Tech (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) to assist during the day shift in the OR under the supervision of an RN. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and precise documentation.

The position offers a part-time day schedule with Saturday and Sunday shifts, a $5,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment, and opportunities for in-house certification and growth within Surgical Services.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Under the supervision of an Operating Room Registered Nurse, assists in providing nursing care to a designated population in collaboration with the members of the health care team.

*$5,000 Sign-On Bonus with a 2-year commitment.

The Surgical Technician / Operating (OR) Tech (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) works in a collaborative environment at St Mary within Surgical Services to provide safe, quality health care services & / or assistance to patients under the supervision & direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies & procedures. Must have additional training through the achievement of in-house certifications or have successful completion of role specific certification or licensing.

What You Will Do:

• Employment Type/Shift: Part Time Days; Saturday & Sunday

• Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses & designated health care professional in keeping detailed records, maintaining clear communication between the entire care team & working with patients & families.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.

• Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement.
