St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating (OR) Tech for a full-time evening shift within Surgical Services. This role supports patient care under supervision and requires a combination of in-house certifications or licensing.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment. The position involves direct patient observation, therapeutic communication, and collaboration with nurses and health care professionals to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.
• Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe & therapeutic environment.
• Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses & designated health care professional in keeping detailed records, maintaining clear communication between the entire care team & working with patients & families.
• May serve as a resource (lead), role model & / or mentor.
