Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Certified Surgical Technician credential is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Scrub, pass instrumentation, and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Assist in patient transfer and positioning as needed.
• Collaborate with circulating nurse on supplies and setup.
• Monitor equipment and maintain proper function.
• Respond to emergencies prioritizing patient needs.
• Advocate for patient safety and rights during care.
