Job summary

IVI-RMA North America is seeking a part-time Surgical Center Nurse in Wayne, PA. The role requires 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certification.

You will provide comprehensive patient care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases, including PACU hand-offs and discharge education. Strong assessment skills and proficiency with medical documentation, plus comfort with Excel/Outlook, are desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides emotional support to patients through pre-, intra-, and post-operative stages.
• Coordinate movement of patients and ensure quality nursing care.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and document per policy.
• Assist in surgical setup and PACU hand-off to recovery team.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physician.
• Explain discharge instructions to patient/family and ensure continuity of care.
