Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking 2 Part-Time Surgical Center Nurses (RN) for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. The role is 3 days per week, including 2 weekend days per month and 2 holidays per year.

You will provide nursing care across pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phases, ensuring high-quality patient care and continuity. Candidates should be a graduate of an approved nursing program with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• BLS/ACLS – required.
• Certification: BLS/ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides emotional support to the patient during pre-operative, operative and post-operative stages.
• Performs pre-operative and post-operative activities to coordinate surgery and patient care.
• Assists in the operating room and PACU hand-off to recovery.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes to the physician.
• Reviews discharge instructions and prepares patient for discharge.
• Follows infection control and safety precautions.
