Job summary

IVIRMA Global in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Per-Diem Registered Nurse for our Surgical Center. The role requires commitment to one weekday and at least 2 weekend days per month to support pre-operative, surgical and post-operative care.

The Nurse will provide nursing assessment, coordinate care, assist in operating room, PACU, discharge instructions and maintain infection control; two years of clinical experience and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• 2+ years clinical nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support to patients across pre-op, operative, and post-op stages
• Coordinate pre-op and post-op activities to ensure smooth surgical flow
• Assist in setting up cases with the surgical team and ensure supplies are ready
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the physician
• Review discharge instructions with patient/family and address questions
• Support patient readiness for discharge and maintain infection control practices
