Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a Weekend Store Bookkeeper to support the store manager with accounting, invoicing, and daily financial tasks. The role involves handling cash, inventories, deposits, and payroll-related records in a fast-paced convenience store environment.

Responsibilities

• assist the store manager in implementing sound accounting decisions in line with Town Pump standards and procedures
• manage vendor invoicing, data entries, and shortage controls
• maintain store cash funds, fuel and inventories, and audit shift reports
• process accounts receivable activities including deposits and closeouts
• complete store paperwork such as daily reports, purchases, markups/downs, and inventory adjustments
• order office supplies and enter purchases into the system
• record sales and purchases, balance store records to office reports, and verify payroll timecards
• maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
