Qualifications

• Seven years of SPD experience or a Bachelor's + three years SPD exp.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage complex workflows.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Current experience as a Preceptor/Trainer of staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and schedules daily activities of central sterile staff, ensuring quality and productivity.
• Trains subordinates on sterile processing procedures and provides daily guidance.
• Develops unit schedule to meet supply and service needs; consults on productivity and quality improvements.
• Oversees inventory and routine maintenance/calibration of equipment and instruments.
• Identifies and troubleshoots equipment issues, determining need for service/repairs.
• Contributes to improving departmental processes and participates in personnel decisions.
