Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a Weekend Sonographer to perform a range of ultrasound examinations on a weekend schedule. You will work with an experienced imaging team to deliver high-quality patient care and support the imaging department’s goals.

The role requires completion of an accredited sonography program and eligibility for ARDMS/ARRT registrations, with a focus on safety, accuracy and patient comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in sonography from an accredited program.
• No experience required.
• Ability to obtain required ARDMS/ARRT registrations within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Differentiate between normal and pathologic findings and review patient history.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation and billing codes for procedures.
