Job summary

Advocate Health’s West Allis imaging team is seeking a Weekend Sonographer. The role focuses on performing general, vascular and cardiac ultrasound studies with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and safety during 12-hour weekend shifts.

You will work with a supportive team, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package. The position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Competency in general and vascular sonographic procedures.
• Ability to differentiate normal vs pathologic findings.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Identifies and labels images with patient name and MRU.
• Maintains records and enters data into radiology information system.
