Job summary

Aurora Women's Pavilion is seeking an experienced OB/GYN sonographer for our West Allis OB/GYN Clinic. This full‑time role offers a predictable weekday schedule with Monday–Friday hours, no weekends, no on‑call shifts, and a strong emphasis on work‑life balance.

You will perform general and vascular ultrasound studies, review patient histories, ensure accurate image labeling, and collaborate closely with radiologists and clinic staff to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general and vascular sonographic procedures.
• Ability to differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
• Strong teamwork and communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Performs general and/or vascular studies under Radiologist supervision.
• Operates ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and cardiac procedures.
• Reviews patient history and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Identifies patient name, MRU number and exam location on images.
• Maintains records and documents billing codes for charges.
• Serves as a resource and preceptor for staff and students.
• Participates in quality improvement and accreditation initiatives.
