Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Sonographer II for our Weekend Program. Schedule: Friday & Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM with shared call and holiday rotation. This role offers a strong weekend differential, sign-on bonus, and benefits from day one.

Proficiency in general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound is required, with ARDMS/ARRT credentials as noted. The team emphasizes collaborative care and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Sonography.
• Typically requires 2 years of Sonographer experience.
• ARDMS/ARRT registrations for abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Differentiate normal versus pathologic findings.
• Review patient history and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Position patient and select transducer and factors for accurate imaging.
• Label images with patient identifiers and study details and document findings.
