Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center in Wisconsin is looking for a Full-time Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, vascular, and cardiac exams with standard imaging protocols. You’ll operate the ultrasound system, document findings, and ensure image quality and proper labeling within the radiology workflow.

The role offers 36 hours per week with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-hour shifts. Enjoy a $6,000 sign-on bonus, benefits from day one, a supportive team including transporters and imaging

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School in Sonography.
• Must be able to operate ultrasound equipment and differentiate normal vs pathologic findings.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and patient safety.
• Ability to communicate with patients and caregivers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Accurately identify findings and document patient history, orders, and results.
• Position patients and select transducers and settings for quality images.
• Maintain records and ensure proper labeling of images and billing codes.
