Job summary

Continuum of Care in Meriden is seeking a Residential Aide for 1st shift (Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat) 32 hours per week, 7am–3pm. The role supports residents with daily living activities, leading groups, and coordinating with nursing staff to monitor health and medications.

The position requires a high school diploma or CNA certification, with a CT driver's license. Weekend shifts include a $1/hour differential ($21.17/hour). Training includes HIPAA-compliant documentation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in related healthcare field or CNA certification
• Knowledge of community resources preferred
• Valid Connecticut driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and skills
• Lead group activities and outings
• Monitor safety and cleanliness of living spaces
• Administer or observe medication prompts in collaboration with nursing staff
