Job summary

Hireology is seeking two Weekend Shift Managers to oversee weekend operations, support caregivers and clients, and step in to provide direct care when needed. This hybrid remote/on-call role focuses on managing weekend coverage, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Be available Friday evening through Monday morning.
• Remain reachable and responsive by phone throughout the weekend, including overnight hours.
• Answer calls and provide support to caregivers and clients.
• Assist with finding coverage when a caregiver calls out or is unable to work.
• Be willing to personally cover client shifts when necessary.
• Develop knowledge of clients, caregivers, schedules, and procedures.
• Be comfortable using scheduling, communication, and other technology.
• Travel between Charlottesville and Valley service areas when coverage is needed; otherwise remote.
• Respond to daytime and overnight situations.
• Communicate clearly with caregivers, clients, and management regarding weekend issues.

WEEKEND SHIFT MANAGER

We are looking for two reliable, responsible, and tech-savvy Weekend Shift Managers to help oversee weekend operations, support our caregivers and clients, and step in to provide direct care when needed.This is a hybrid remote/on-call and caregiving position. Weekend Shift Managers will primarily handle incoming calls, assist with scheduling and coverage needs, and troubleshoot situations that arise throughout the weekend. When caregiver coverage cannot be found, you must be willing and able to go to a client’s home and provide care as needed. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, a strong problem-solver, and comfortable making decisions and handling unexpected situations independently.

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Be available Friday evening through Monday morning
• Remain reachable and responsiveby phone throughout the weekend, including overnight hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Answer calls and provide support to caregivers and clients
• Assist with finding coverage when a caregiver calls out or is unable to work
• Be willing to personally cover client shifts when necessary
• Develop a strong working knowledge of our clients, caregivers, schedules, and procedures
• Be comfortable using scheduling, communication, and other technology required for the position
• Be willing to travel between the Charlottesville and Valley service areas when coverage is needed; otherwise, weekend responsibilities can primarily be handled remotely
• Be prepared to respond to both daytime and overnight situations
• Communicate clearly with caregivers, clients, and management regarding weekend issues and changes
