Job summary

ComForCare in Northern Virginia is seeking a Weekend On-Call Coordinator to support clients, families, and caregivers while off-hours. This remote, part-time role helps keep next-day shifts staffed and ensures quality home care.

You’ll handle calls, respond professionally, document inquiries, and coordinate scheduling with a focus on clear communication and reliable service. A flexible schedule and local residency are required.

• Strong communication with clients, families and caregivers.
• Detail-oriented with excellent customer service.
• Resident of Northern Virginia; able to work remote.

Responsibilities

• Answer agency calls and monitor voicemails, email, and Text-Em-All messages.
• Respond promptly and professionally to clients, families, caregivers, and prospective clients.
• Document new client inquiries in the Intake Summary Form and notify the owner.
• Coordinate caregiver scheduling, including filling call-offs and open shifts.
• Ensure all next-day shifts are fully staffed by the end of each on-call day.
• Report client, family, or employee concerns — as well as any incidents — to supervisory staff.
