Job summary

Senior Helpers in Charlottesville is seeking a Weekend Shift Manager to oversee weekend operations, support caregivers and clients, and step in to provide direct care when needed. This hybrid remote/on-call role requires dependable, organized problem-solvers who adapt to busy weekend schedules.

You will handle incoming calls, assist with scheduling and coverage, and troubleshoot weekend issues. Travel between Charlottesville and Valley may be required; otherwise, weekend work can be handled

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, organized, and calm under pressure.
• Experience coordinating caregiver schedules and coverage is a plus.
• Comfort with using scheduling and communication technology.

Responsibilities

• Be available for weekend shifts from Friday evening through Monday morning.
• Answer calls and provide support to caregivers and clients.
• Assist with finding caregiver coverage when a call-out occurs.
• Travel between Charlottesville and Valley service areas when needed; otherwise remote work.
• Be willing to provide direct care at client homes when coverage is unavailable.
